Member Messaging Now Available
It’s now possible to send a message to any of your Qhub friends – simply go the profile page of the person you want to contact and click on the ‘Send Message’ button in the top right corner of their profile:
We were asked the question “Can you edit the way the question URL’s display for SEO purposes? Or is this in the plans at all?“, and today we have released this functionality. This is on by default in new Qhubs, but so as not to affect any SEO work already in place we have not turned it on for existing Qhubs.
this works fine on website but xml sitemap still shows old urls?
The more search engine savvy Qhub owners among you will have been frustrated at the lack of a tools for verification and sitemap submission. Well, now you can do this in the Webmaster Tools page (accessible from your Settings Page).
I have verified my site in Google and Bing for webmaster verification except Yahoo for, I have failed to get it verified there for no understandable reason by me despite repeated attempt for that. Possible reason given by yahoo is that possibly my site is blocking yahoo slurp to visit your site.
I keep getting, 403 forbidden, if i am redirect via DNS, are there other instructions?
This happens when i visit my URL answer.brighterblooms.com/sitemap.xml and answer.brighterblooms.com/googlexxxxxxxxxx.html
Thanks John.
Thanks! It’s OK. I have tried every possible thing, but I can’t get it talk. I am leaving it currently in a state advised by you.
As an alternative you could always verify your qhub with meta-tags you can insert in the header.
I will check it .
Qhub is growing rapidly and that’s thanks to all of you. To ensure that you and your users get the best experiences possible, we have introduced 3 great new features on every Qhub:
With the new ‘comments‘ function, anyone that asks a question can comment on answers received and those that answer can comment on their own answers. A useful tool to enable conversations between the asker and the answerer. Why not give it a try. If you like someones answer, let them know! It’s easy to do. (More …)
We have recently integrated Gravatar’s into Qhub’s. This means that if you already have an existing gravatar you shall no longer need to upload an avatar as we shall use your gravatar. But don’t worry if you have already got an avatar or want to use a different avatar, you can still use your own avatar by uploading one via Settings.

Since you last looked at Qhub.com, we have made some additions to the site that we think you will really like. (More …)
We have recently integrated facebook connect with Qhub sites. This allows poeple to sign up and sign in to your hubs using their facebook account. It couldn’t be any easier, instead of using the normal sign up or sign in form all your members need to do is click the facebook connect button and sign in to facebook from this we can create an account for them so they can jump straight in and start interacting with you Qhub. We’re hoping this will speed up the sign up process and get more people interacting with your Qhubs.

ive managed to input the wrong facebook api info. now that my cname is all set up, i cant log into my settings area for my qhub because the facebook settings gives me an error and the email and password method just redirects me to the sign in page every time. there needs to be an easier way to update records if a custom url is being used. there needs to be a way to update records from the qhub website. any help on this subject. thanks in advance.
Although Qhub has only been launched for just over a week in it’s Beta form, the team here have decided to continue to ensure every Qhub is as useful as possible and as such, have developed some new features which you will all experience on your own Qhub sites. (More …)
